Daniel has a particular interest and focus in assisting client’s in family law disputes involving family businesses and commercial considerations.
Daniel brings a firm but relatable approach to his clients. By meeting clients where they are in their family law journey, and guiding them confidently through the process with integrity and understanding he has earned the deep appreciation of many former and current clients as well as his pears.
Daniel's background is in agriculture, coming from a multigenerational farming family well known in the cotton industry of the darling downs and central Queensland. Daniel stepped off the farm and into the offices of McNamara Law, with the expectation of assisting Lockyer Valley farmers in commercial matters, and began his career focused on property and SME transactions and litigation. Daniel was reluctantly thrust into the world of Family Law and to his own surprise found it to be exactly the challenging and rewarding work he was looking for, and the rest is history.
Why Magpie?
The name of the firm is inspired by the species all too familiar to Australian cyclists - being extremely defensive of their nest, and their eggs and chicks.
Magpies, unlike most birds, are fed and looked after as hatchlings by both their mother and their father.
Magpie Law is a small practice but like its namesake is not afraid to aggressively go after the big guys.
